Welcome to Bailey's
home on the web! This website was
made when Bailey was born and has tons of beautiful pics
of our little girl. She is the fifth and final member of
our clan and has fit in PERFECTLY from Day One. She's so
mellow and laid back and as she's starting to get older,
she is meshing awesome with all of us. She is the
world's best baby. Never cries (**see small update
below). She's so easy and low
maintenance. She also adores her older brother and
sisters. Most especially her big sister McKenzie. They
are so close it is amazing. For both, one will be crying
hysterically and the other will simply walk up and the
tears turn to smiles. Not one of us in this house can do
that for either of them! I swear they are twins
separated by 2 years and 4 months!!

-- 29 month Update --
Bailey was weaned off the boobies on 6.2.05. I had a
Nuclear Medicine Scan for a problem with my thyroid and
they gave me a radioactive iodine pill for that. I got
to the hospital for the test and only after asking if it
was ok to still nurse her, did they tell me it wasn't.
Thank God I asked, huh? So I had to quit for 48 hours. I
was so sad and scared that she would hate me for it. She
was till nursing 5+ times per day and a few times during
the night. I didn't want to be pushed into an abrupt
weaning like that, but I suppose it was for the best.
Looking back, the first week was tough but she got
through it and now clings to "me" now instead of her
"boobies".
She is talking up a storm, adding more words to her
vocabulary every day. She can almost say the ABC's and
her favorite songs are You Are My Sunshine and Itsy
Bitsy Spider. She loves to sing and dance. She also
LOVES her "dollyhouse" - Loving Family dollhouse that
she shares with her big sister, her "babies", and her "pollies"
- polly pockets.
She is starting to eat more solid foods since she was
weaned. She is pretty picky, but is doing better. She
loves hot dogs, pastas, potatoes, eggs, sandwiches,
cheese, etc. Not too big on fruits or veggies though.
:o( She drinks a ton of water and "orge juice" which is
any type of juice.
She went through a Blue's Clues phase and a short
Wiggles phase, but now she's "cared" (scared) of both
shows. Not sure why? Haunting her in her dreams maybe?
She is VERY afraid of Captain Feathersword and after
looking at him, he does look kind of scary. He has some
pretty funky facial expressions.
