Having a well stocked pantry will guarantee to save you time, money and stress in the kitchen! When you are having a night where you just don't know what to make for dinner, having a well stocked pantry will leave endless possibilities. You can keep a list close to your pantry and buy things as they get low. If I have less than a 1/4 jar of mayonnaise, I add it to my weekly grocery shopping list. Or, if I see they are 3 for $5 at my grocery store, I will buy 3, so that I am sure to not only NOT run out, but also not pay twice or three times as much when I'm in need of it and it's not on sale where I shop. We have a pretty big pantry in our kitchen, it has 6 shelves and I keep not only pantry foods there, but also my holiday plates, various small cooking appliances, and more in there. I have some heavy duty storage shelves, we bought at Lowe's, in my laundry room for overflow. When I can buy 10 boxes of cereal for $1 a piece or buy big packages of things at Costco. You can always add to or remove things that you don't need.

Here are a few pictures of well stocked pantries, I found just from looking around on the Internet for organization ideas.

And This is MY pantry. Sorry about the poor lighting! I want a bigger one! Maybe someday...
