Kielbasa & Potato Fry

If you have or are part of a large family, you know how difficult it can be sometimes to find a meal that everyone in your family enjoys. Well, this is one of ours. Every one of my kids, myself and husband LOVE this dish. And it's really pretty easy and fool proof :)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 onion, roughly chopped  (for my picky eaters, I substitute the onion powder)
  • 8 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages beef kielbasa, diced into bite size pieces

** You can also add things like Green or Red Peppers and other veggies - my kids are too picky and since it is a tried and true favorite, we make it for their tastes

Directions

Boil potatoes until fork tender, about 5 to 6 minutes.

Heat oil in large skillet. Brown onion, while the potatoes are boiling. Add diced kielbasa and potatoes to pan and cook about 10 to 15 minutes, until sausage is brown and potatoes are tender.

Makes 7 servings.
