Taco Dip
I got this
from my friend Marcy. We've made variations of this over the years and this
recipe was definitely one of the bigger
hits. My mom put this together the last time around and cut a small tomato
into wedges and arranged them in the center of the dip with a dollop of sour
cream. It looked awesome!
2 16oz containers of sour cream
2 8oz containers of cream cheese
2 or 3 packets of taco seasoning
Cream these ingredients together (cream cheese MUST
be softened) or it'll be a clumpy mess. Chill mixture preferably over
night....so the taco seasoning can soak into the creams...if not, chill at least
a few hours.
Spread onto a plate/platter (this makes a ton, so you
can use a huge platter...or do up a few smaller ones of it).....
Top with whatever you prefer...shredded cheddar
cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives, onions..whatever you want.
Super easy..and makes a ton.
