Treasure Island Hotel & Casino Review

Treasure Island is a 90,000 square
foot hotel and casino. It features 1,973 slots and 89 table games, 13
restaurants and a 36 floor hotel with 3,105 rooms. It is situated
right next to Fashion Show Mall and The Mirage (a partnered property).
There is a tram that connects these two hotels, which we used quite a
bit. It leaves every 4 minutes.
Our hotel was gorgeous, our room was
attractive and clean. We stayed in a deluxe king room, with a strip
view. I suggest checking in on a non-weekend day. We checked in at
right around 10am (they post that check in is 3pm!) on a Thursday and
we were able to get the 19th floor, with a strip view. Our view was
FANTASTIC.
The hotel staff was wonderful,
everyone was very nice and friendly. I enjoyed the atmosphere.
Treasure Island used to be more of a family friendly place, but has
been redesigned during a $100 million renovation into a hip, classy,
intimate place for young 20's and 30's
crowd. We still saw alot of families there, though, I'd say more than
any other casino we walked through.
One small downfall to TI, was... the
signage. When walking through the casino, there are just not enough
signs. I was forever getting turned around. There are two elevator
corridors and each one has sets of elevators for different levels of
rooms, so you have to watch where you are getting on!

Property Amenities
An elevated tram leaving every four minutes connects the
2,879-room Treasure Island to its neighboring sister property, The
Mirage. Treasure Island guests enjoy charging privileges at The Mirage
and another sister hotel, the opulent Bellagio, farther south on The
Strip.
What to expect:
Originally a family-style venue, this hotel was recently given an
“edgier” personality, transformed by a $100-million renovation that is
now most popular with young adults who pursue an active lifestyle.
Amenity highlights: Surrounded by cabanas that can be rented
for the day and come furnished with a television and telephone, a
large, heated, free-form pool and 10-person spa provide relaxation
during warm weather. An opulent health spa offers massages, beauty
services, and body and facial treatments. Included are fitness
facilities, steam rooms, saunas, and spas.

Notes:
Of these listed above we dined at the Dishes Buffet, twice for
breakfast,
Kahunaville and Canter's, twice. Both were amazing. For $20 you can
get a frozen margarita for 2 and a keepsake glass w/3 shooters of
vodka at Kahunaville. When
checking in, we received a coupon for buy 1 entree, get 1 stirfry
free. The stirfry I got, was amazing. Service was friendly and quick.
Canter's was so good, we had to eat there twice. I wish we had one
here locally. David holds a high regard for their ranch dressing. It's
lick your plate clean, good. :)
