We were introduced to the world of "Rare Movies" about 4 years ago when I was hired as an eBay Trading Assistant, to list some movies from another eBay member. "The Movie Guy", who has since practically become a member of the family, would travel all over the US and Canada to small video stores looking for these rare and out of print titles. He must have had a list of at least 500 titles memorized that he'd look for. I didn't, at the time, understand just how he knew which movies would sell for $50 to $100 a piece. Movies that people saw many years ago, but haven't been able to locate since and are willing to pay that price just to see the movie again.

I remember when the first "Rad", "Teen Witch", "Garbage Pail Kids", "Monster Squad", etc came through. These were movies that I watched and adored in my childhood, but never could find at Blockbuster or Hollywood Video when I'd think about them and want to see them again. These movies aren't made anymore, they aren't available on DVD. The older video stores are being bought out by all the Blockbuster's and Hollywood's out there (or simply run out of business) and so these videos are just disappearing. The purpose of this site, is hopefully just to put you in touch with movies you can no longer find. We don't sell movies, but you can find descriptions, pictures and links to where you can purchase them here. We will be adding more as time allows, so please check back!
