What are Webkinz?
Webkinz are lovable plush
pets that each come with a unique Secret Code that lets you enter Webkinz World and play with a virtual version of your pet. If's fun,
safe and educational.
What are all the cool things I can
do in Webkinz World?
Where do we start? First, you adopt your pet and name it.
Then you can custom design a room for it. You can play games in the
Arcade, or compete against other players in tournaments. You can
answer quizzes in Quizzy's Question Corner and enter contests, too.
All of these things earn you KinzCash, which you can use to go
shopping for your pet in our W Shop, where you can buy toys,
furniture and clothes. There are stories to read and fun daily
activities. The best part is that we add things to Webkinz World
frequently, so it's always getting bigger and better.
How do I find out more about Webkinz
World?
There are lots of ways. For a sneak peek, click on
TAKE A WEBKINZ TOUR
on the login site. Inside the site, you can click on the yellow
question mark at the bottom right of the dock to open a Help File
for more information on the area you are in. You also get a Webkinz
Guide when you first sign up after dragging it into your room, click
on it to open it.
 Is
Webkinz World safe?
Yes. The Internet can be an unsafe place, and this is why GANZ the
makers of Webkinz has made the safest possible website and chat
system available. Thier chat is constructed, so users can't type in
whatever they want. Nothing inappropriate can be said, and there is
no way to exchange any personal information. Normally only people
you know will have your username, which is needed in order to add
someone to your Friends list. You can make new friends through the
Tournament Arena, and users may guess your username, but you can
always decline their offer to join their Friends list, or delete
them at any time.
What Should Parents Do to Protect
Thier Kids Webkinz?
Be sure to save the Secret Code Tags from each of your Webkinz and
Lil'Kinz. If your child should forget the username and password or
should your computer crash you will be able to get back in to your
Webkinz World account using the secret code.
