How To Adopt A Webkinz Virtual Pet

First you have to buy one! See if one you like is in stock in our store.

Each Webkinz stuffed animal is sold with a tag that has a unique code printed on it.  Using your computer's web browser navigate to http://www.webkinz.com.

Click on the New Member section.  Follow the screens and enter the Webkinz code that was printed on your Webkinz when you are prompted.

Once you enter your code you will find out your Webkinz animals birth date and some more information about them such as their favorite food and Webkinz animal friend. You will also be asked to give your Webkinz a name and to indicate if your Webkinz animal is a boy or a girl.

You must select a user name and a password when you first adopt a Webkinz and sign up for Webkinz world.  Make sure that the user name and password do not give any of your personal information away and also make sure that the password is easy enough to remember.

When you complete the adoption process you will see your Webkinz animal in his new Webkinz World room and make sure you look for your welcome presents!

Here is a list of things that you can do to keep your Webkinz healthy.

1. Keep your Webkinz well fed. You can buy food at the W Shop. Make sure they get lots of fruits and vegetables. The hamburger, hot dog and chicken nuggets are the best value.  They fill up your Webkinz without spending a lot of kinz cash.  Vitamins can increase the health of your Webkinz, but don't give more than one per day, and they are not a good value.
    

2. Popsicles can help your Webkinz animal if it has a sore throat.  You would find this information when you visit the Webkinz clinic.  There is a great doctor there that can look at your Webkinz if it is not feeling well.  At times you may also have to buy medicine.
    

3. Make sure you keep your Webkinz animal clean. You can buy a bathtub at the W Shop.  Webkinz Tip: a bathtub comes as a free gift when you buy a Hippo Webkinz.  Giving your Webkinz a bath is a quick and fun way to make your Webkinz health level go up.  Not all items are interactive in Webkinz World, but the bathtub is interactive and fun.
    

4. Make sure your Webkinz animal gets lots of exercise. You can get a pool so your Webkinz can swim.  You can also get a trampoline for jumping or you can get your Webkinz a treadmill.
    

5. Your Webkinz requires a lot of rest, so remember to put it to bed prior to logging out of Webkinz World.

KinzCash Tips & Tricks

Here are some tips, hints, and strategies for making a lot of KinzCash in Webkinz World.

Play Cash Cow

You enjoy playing your favorite Webkinz world arcade games for fun and for KinzCash, but not all games are created equal.  Some games pay a lot more KinzCash than others.  Cash Cow is a favorite.  It is easy to play and pays a good amount without spending a lot of time at it.  Try to maximize "Bonuses", you receive those by clearing the board before going to the next level.  

Play Tile Towers

Another game in Webkinz Arcade is Tile Towers.  It's comparable MahJong, not easy to master, but once you get the hang of it can pay off pretty well.  To complete the first level you automatically win a whopping $48 in Kinz Cash.

Play Quizzy's Trivia Games

If you need to earn KinzCash fast to buy your favorite Webkinz a new TV or add on by buying a yard or new room go to Quizzy's.  These are trivia style questions separated by age brackets, then further divided into subject categories.  You can earn $1-5 KinzCash per question.

Play Dogbeard's Bathtub Battles

If you like to play two person games head to Tournament Arena in Webkinz World.  Play Dogbeard's Bathtub Battles.  If you are the winner you can earn $75-80 Webkinz Cash!

Play Quizzy's Word Challenge

If you are good at spelling you definitely should try Quizzy's Word Challenge in the Webkinz arcade.  Maximize your points by having your last letter of your word end in the center square as often as possible.

Check Out Webkinz Daily Events and Hourly Events

Check out the Webkinz Daily events!  There are hourly events that start at 4:00pm on the weekdays and 9:00am on the weekends.  There are sale items, special games, extra turns at daily events, and free items.  The daily events are Webkinz activities that can help you win extra KinzCash.  Those activities are the Wishing Well, the Wheel of Wow, Bingoz Ballz, and Mining at the Curio Shop.  You can win W shop coupons, food for your Webkinz, and various amounts of KinzCash.  Don't forget to use your W shop coupons at the W shop to help you save on more expensive Webkinz items. 

Give Daily KinzCare Award

Don't forget to go to "My Pets" daily and give your webkinz their daily KinzCare Award.  You earn an additional $5 KinzCash each day you visit, plus your Webkinz pet gets a happiness boost.  If you visit 7 days in a week you and your Webkinz are entered into a drawing to win a webkinz special prize.

Visit and Play at Employment Office

The employment office in Webkinz World gives you a choice of jobs to do and you can visit only once every 8 hours.  The more jobs you do the more KinzCash you can receive.  Fence Painting and Hamburger Cook are a few of the easiest.  When you complete a job you earn $50 KinzCash instantly.  The more you do a job the more difficult it gets as you increase levels, but you earn more KinzCash in each level.

Webkinz Cheats

There are rumors of Webkinz cheat codes, but using such codes and exploiting those codes can result in loosing access to your Webkinz account.  Your Webkinz account can be cancelled and your secret codes that came with your Webkinz pet can no longer be used.  If you follow our KinzCash tips and visit Webkinz World frequently you should have plenty of Webkinz KinzCash.
